COURSE DESCRIPTION
We are all born creative. However, during the process of education and socialization our creativity may become repressed and buried. We generally think of creativity in the context of the arts and sciences: the creation of music, of dance, major discoveries, and great literature. Creativity is a much more complex phenomenon. It can be generally described as “the ability to see new relationships, to produce unusual ideas, and to deviate from traditional patterns of thinking.” More specifically, creativity has been defined by Barron (1969) as “originality, involving new or unusual elements.”
GOALS
This course will also focus on creativity, pointing out the similarities between creativity and intuition (psi) and how they can enhance each another.
INSTRUCTOR
Dr. Angela Thompson Smith has been involved in the study of creativity – both in academics and in her remote viewing work. For example: she studied the topic of creativity at the graduate level at Saybrook University, CA. She also included the topic of creativity in a written program on the development of psi for a financial client.
