Description: This course will include modules on:

  • Role and responsibilities of the project manager.
  • Managing the client relationship, including client education, setting expectations, entering into engagement letters and documenting the scope of the project, setting payment terms, conducting due diligence, collaborating to craft target definitions aligned with the client’s informational needs, reporting results and providing post-project support. The course will also cover common challenges that may arise in the client relationship and how to address them.
  • Managing the relationship with viewers, including recruiting and developing viewers, making project-specific staffing choices, and the mechanics of an operational project. The course will cover how to establish and document expectations with viewers regarding the details of the work to be performed, payment terms, deadlines, confidentiality, the use and ownership of rights in the work produced by the viewers, and feedback. The course will also cover common challenges that may arise in the relationship with viewers and how to address them.
  • Special challenges in designing projects. Questions posed by clients often do not fall neatly into the categories of target types that viewers encounter in training. In this course, we will look at several examples of complex and challenging client questions, and students will have an opportunity to try their hand at designing projects to address them.
  • Ethical, legal, and business issues.

This course is designed to address RV project management in the context of operational work performed for clients with specific and complex informational needs. Although many of the principles discussed in the course may also be applicable to Associative Remote Viewing (ARV) projects or research projects, ARV projects and research projects will not be specifically addressed in this course.

Successful RV project management requires a thorough understanding of the RV project process and of the unique needs of each client. No two projects are alike, and an RV project manager must be flexible and creative in approaching each challenge. As a result, templates will not be used or provided in this course. Rather, students will gain knowledge designed to empower them to create and customize the approaches and materials they will use when managing RV projects.

Although the RV Project Management Intensive course will include discussion of legal issues that may be relevant to RV Project Management, information provided in the course does not constitute legal advice.

Who This Class Is For: Advanced-level viewers who do not yet have project management experience, but who would like to acquire the skills necessary to begin managing RV projects. Also for advanced-level viewers with project management experience who would like to improve their skills in RV project management.

Number of Sessions:

Length of Each Session: 2 hrs.

Class Size: 12

Participation Expectation: Attendance and participation in the live sessions are expected. Class size is limited to allow meaningful interactions of students with their instructor and classmates. Some exercises and homework assignments may involve partnering with other students.  Format: Live. Classes will be a combination of lecture, group discussion and hands-on exercises. Recordings will be available on-line for one week following each class, and are intended primarily for students who may be unable to attend a live session due to severe illness or extenuating circumstances; they are not intended as a substitute for live attendance and participation.

Homework: Approximately 2 hours/wk. Homework will not be graded, but rather will be an opportunity for students to wrestle with issues commonly faced by RV project managers. Students will be encouraged to bring to the next class questions that arose during the process of working on the homework assignments.

Prerequisites: Trained through the advanced level in a structured RV methodology (or by special permission of instructor).
